Alaa Rustom is a Construction Claims professional with a proven record of both preparing and responding to Project Delay Claims in the construction industry. Alaa has worked both in the Middle East and Canada as a Contractor and as an Owner’s Representative. His domestic and international experience has given him the ability to experience the industry in all its forms. His skills come from an intensive mega project background in Qatar where he successfully took part in preparing construction claims protecting the rights of his firm.

Alaa is also an advocate of alternative dispute resolution. He is a certified mediator with Mediation training from the Civil Mediation Academy in the UK, as well as a Construction Law & Arbitration masters out of Aberdeen Scotland. Alaa has used his knowledge to advocate for resolving disputes outside of court to the best of his abilities.
