CIArb Canada is delighted to share with you the announcement of Daniel Urbas’ appointment as a puisne Judge of the Superior Court of Quebec for the district of Montréal.
As many of you know, Daniel is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a founding director of the Canada Branch. He has also been a highly regarded tutor and course director for our Accelerated Route to Fellowship Courses. In addition, he is a sought after arbitrator, a frequent speaker and writer on arbitration issues, a mentor to many aspiring arbitrators, and has just published the 101st issue of “Arbitration Matters” – the means by which many of us stay up to date on developments in arbitration law.
